So today I asked Piper what she wanted to take a picture of today. She was eager to pick but waited all day to let me know what to take a picture of. She chose the carrots we had for dinner. She loves carrots so we took a picture of them before I cooked them. I do have to say dinner was yummy. Chicken, Brown Rice and Carrots.
Piper has become very independent little lady. She tries to do everything by herself. Apparently even get the to snacks. Standing on a step stool with a extended grabber in hand she is on a mission to get snacks by herself. She was successful by knocking not grabbing the snacks.
So I've been carrying around my camera with me everywhere but I seem to fins that I'm taking most if not all my pictures at home. I'm not sure if because its more natural to take pictures of my kids or if I just don't find things to be that interesting to take pictures of outside my home. This picture is a little over whelming after settling down for the night and cleaning up the play room I let Jasper just roam the house.... About 5 minutes of not hearing him I went looking for him and to my surprise he has destroyed the play room. In MyView he is the calm before the storm...
Today was a big day for Piper. Today I got to watch her in cheerleading class. Parents are not allowed to watch class regularly because it causes the children to be distracted and I completely agree. All tho Piper was almost too fast for me to get a good picture of her and my camera wouldn't zoom in as far as I needed it to but I was still able to get a few shots. In MyView she's the best Cheerleader.
Jasper is finally cutting his teeth. It has taken me about 25 times to catch and actual picture of them. This is a great picture of his teeth coming threw. One is already popped out and the second one is right there.
This is Piper all ready for Cheerleading. She has become very bouncy since starting. Things she muSt do to attend class. She always goes to class with a Bow. She has to wear white ruffle socks with all white shoes. She Loves it. In MyView this is the best way to burn off her energy.
SO this evening my son Jasper i guess decided he was still hungry. In I think this is so funny in MyView. If you knew my son you would already know that he's is a very good eater. He's going for his sister's yogurt. I softened the view of this picture
SO Today I've taken a bunch of random pictures but the thing that stick out the most in MyView is the Ice we had for desert. Piper and I went grocery shopping and she got to pick out the ice cream. Well she did an amazing job. This ice cream is to die for. We just loved it. It shall be bought again. I color popped this picture by just highlighting the lid.
So today it was all about Fun in the snow. It might give a dusting of snow here in Jacksonville, NC once a year but today is the 2nd snow Jacksonville has seen. Snowing most of the day settled with 4.5 inches at our house meant 4wheeling in the snow and snow angles for my little lady. I took as many pictures as I could before my Sony camera froze. This is Piper playing in the snow. Most of the pictures were just blurry since she was moving way too fast for me to grab a picture of her while I was holding our 10 month old who turns out to HATE the snow. I guess being that he hates wearing clothes and bundling him up was like torture to him. This picture was taken in black and white, softened around the edges and a snow flake added. In MyView Piper had a pretty good day. We ended our day with Hot Coco on the couch watching Movies with Popcorn... Who wouldn't love that.
Today We had to go to the grocery store. Piper's pick for her apples this time was Green Granny Smith Apples. This picture was taken with a Vivid Shot.
So today my daughter was bundled up on the couch with her feet sticking out of her favorite blanket. Such a sweet picture of her feet in MyView. We have a similar picture like this of her feet when she was about 4 months old with the same blanket. I softened the image of her feet and added the word Sweet.
Well we have had a busy busy day. Preparing for my husband to leave for "Cax" also know as 29 Palms Desert for Deployment training. Jasper was sooooo tired that he couldn't even stay awake to finish his bottle. MyView is of one sleepy little man. No adjustment in the picture.
I'm finding my inspiration of taking pictures of different things everyday a little hard. I did come across a cute picture on the Internet and figured I'd do my own version of it. Since my husband is military I used his boots and tied our wedding rings onto his boots. It's a very unique picture in MyView. I did adjust the contrast and used a flash when I took this picture.
I seem to found the most amazing set of trees. With perfect timing the light just beamed right threw them. In MyView it's like Heaven shining down. I played some with the contrast of this picture. Making my colors deeper and the trees almost seem sharper.
I decided to take a picture of a regular fence that i drive passed every day. I call it the fence of Homecomings. It's the Fence outside the main gate of Military Base Camp Lejeune what we now call home. This fence will explode over night with Welcome Home signs from their loved ones. I too have hung a sign on here.No adjusting of the picture. This is in it's raw form. It's perfect in MyView.
So today I played with my Sony Cyber-Shot some trying out all it's features. Its nothing compared to a Canon Rebel T2i (on my Wish List) but it's a handy camera. It at least fits into my side pocket of my bag. Today's adventures landed me checking my mailbox waiting the arrival of my Gela-Skin for my Kindle from Amazon... Another success it was delivered to my door this afternoon. I ripped that box open like it was Christmas. I also added the Starburst to the picture because in MyView it's like a sparkling diamond.
Today I had my camera on hand when I went to the store with my kids. I mean come on something is always interesting when I take the kids out by myself. One will be trying to run into traffic and the other trying to jump out of the cart. Well today went amazingly well. A trip to the toy store and everyone survived with no broken bones. I say a successful outing and shall be repeated. Our take homes. A case of diapers for Jasper, bath tub crayons for Piper, a Jumbo Snow White coloring book for Me;-) well for Piper really, teething tablets for Jasper since one possibly 2 teeth are breaking the gums (Finally he's only 10 months old, a doodle pad for Piper, Fabulous key chains/ Christmas ornaments for my Mom, Pre K lined paper for Piper, a lovely heart shirt for Piper and a set of large crayons for me;-)
So a few weeks ago I came across this Project 365 a Photo a Day for 365 days. I'm Like "Hey I can do that." So today as I run around with my kids, shoot a ton of emails back and forth to my dad about 365 I seem to have already forgotten to take a picture. So I jumped up and took a picture of this. It's my Son Jasper's Elephant that he got this Christmas. It's become a focal point in our living room. As you can see my creativity is low today but I'm hoping to expand MyView.
